GETTING HEALTHY AIN’T EASY.

At least that’s how it used to be for me. For years I was coaching swimmers how to be at optimal health and speed, but my days were long and chaotic.

My time was squeezed with the birth of my son and my meals just got faster and much less healthy.

I had a lot of responsibility to make sure everyone else got taken care of. And I did exactly that…all while putting myself on the back burner.

I got to a place where my energy was drained, it was easier for me to get sick, harder for me to get well…and yet I still had to take care of all of those around me.

Being a Cystic Fibrosis patient, that just wasn’t ok.

I always refuse to be one of the statistics…I am determined to be an 80 year old crotchety woman sitting on the front porch with my husband, griping at all the young kids that go by!! I wasn’t feeling like I was going to get there though. I felt super unhealthy.

 

I needed energy that just wasn’t there…I was suffering from the effects of the Typical American Mom Diet.

And the drained energy only had me reaching for even quicker meals (and more wine)…so the cycle continued.

Wake up tired…get sh*t done….go to bed exhausted.

 

That was right about the time I was given a challenge by the swimmers to complete a 12 week workout. And to make some very simple changes in how I was eating.

They said I couldn’t do it. Well, I’m the kind of person that if you say that…I’ll do it just to prove you wrong.

And let me tell you- after only 2 weeks, it was no longer about proving the swimmers wrong…I literally felt like A BRAND NEW PERSON! There was NO STOPPING ME.

TOTAL TRANSFORMATION

I like to say that I am getting and staying healthy from the inside out. My focus became good, healthy nutrition and living longer than ANY CF patient ever has. But I refused to sacrifice FLAVOR because I’m such a foodie…

The more I turned each unhealthy, quick and comfort meal into a healthier version, the more I got up and moved- I got STRONGER!

My waist started SHRINKING, my health began to WILDLY IMPROVE and I felt like I had so much more CLARITY AND CONFIDENCE.

Plain and simple, I felt like I could TAKE ON THE WORLD. Just a few simple changes a day and I suddenly had enough resources to GIVE to my family, without feeling like I was drained and exhausted.

I WANTED TO SHOUT HOW I DID IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS

 

And so Love Bug Fitness was born.

I became a personal trainer and sports nutritionist. And I literally became OBSESSED with helping other women- other moms- take themselves off the back burner.

To make simple changes that lead to HUGE RESULTS. To become that MILF, that HOT MOM, that COMPLETELY CONFIDENT WOMAN that her husband can’t quit touching.

It started out as simple online challenges that my friends and family would join in on. And it quickly evolved into the  10 DAY ONLINE COURSE TO KICKSTART YOU BACK INTO HEALTHY HABITS  to help women learn to eat healthier and incorporate 3 move workouts in their insanely busy days. It also gave birth to the insanely awesome Online Coaching Community, ROCKIN’ BODY Society, where we can take a more one on one, customized approach to workouts and food to get you feeling GOOD about yourself again.

Women from all over started seeing HUGE changes in their body, their confidence, their energy.
