It’s 2017!!!!

Holy moly, Love Bug, 2016 went by way too quickly for me. How about you?

Well since it’s here, and since we’re seeing resolutions and goals all over the place, let’s keep talking about the 5 key habits, all simple changes, that result in HUGE goals reached! Each week we’ll be going over these keys…so that you can truly reach your highest potential in 2017!

Last week we talked about setting BIG GOALS and then breaking them down into smaller chunks. This week we’re talking about:

2. TRYING NEW THINGS:

I’m sure we’ve all heard the quote, “If you keep doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep getting what you’ve always gotten.” It’s like the definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. I’m a HUGE believer in this.

In fact, I wrote an entire blog post about it HERE. It’s about creating SOUL GOALS instead of resolutions. Instead of making more to-do lists for yourself, find THE ONE THING that will challenge your soul and do that.

 

And the thing is, that means you’ll have to break through your comfort zone. The thing holding you stagnant…you’re going to have to dig deep and identify it! Then promise yourself that this year, you will try NEW THINGS so that you smash through the comfort zone and THAT is how you will see change.

And a little secret? It’s perfectly okay to fail. That’s right FAIL AWAY! We learn more from failing than we do from succeeding, and WAY more than not trying because we are afraid to fail. I love this quote from Thomas Edison:

 

“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”

 

Get out there and dig deep this week, Love Bugs. Find the THING that would set your soul truly on fire and go grab it.
